It’s a Hard Knock Life for the AFC North
-
Hey @Mik , did you see the news that HBO and NFL Films are going to do a special in season Hard Knocks focused on all 4 AFC North teams? And the series will run the last 6 weeks of the season and into the playoffs?
I really don’t like this…

All 6 of the Steeler’s divisional games are in the last 8 weeks of the season. The 2 non division games are Philadelphia and KC. The last thing we need in the middle of that murderer’s row is frigging cameras in the middle of everything and being a distraction.

Goodell hates y'all. Not as much as New Orleans, but he hates y'all.
There's no other explanation for such a schedule.

Or… He knows that Pittsburgh is a national team with one of the largest fan bases in the league. They also knew that they were planning on making the AFC North the focus of this series. Wouldn’t they want to up the drama by making every game a huge game? Bengals, Browns, and Ravens all play half their division dames in the final 6 weeks and also have at least 1 other major game in that stretch. The league manipulated the schedule to drum up more interest in the series.
It’s no coincidence that the Ravens play the Chargers (Harbaugh vs Harbaugh) the first week of the show…
