Well, as conditions worsen, the money and jobs start to leave and taxes need to go up to feed the welfare state...

I just cannot conceive how any rational human being can think lawlessness is a cure for social ills.

I very much doubt that we will see a change.

The leftist talking points is that the lawlessness narrative is a fabrication of the right, and most of them are sufficiently insulated that no lawlessness hits them personally.

            Education is extremely important.

Crime statistics are crap these days. Over 1/3 of major cities aren’t reporting to the FBI. On top of that, DA’s aren’t prosecuting, and police are not pursuing or arresting many criminals. Look at the video I posted with the kids in Chicago. There were no arrests there. Was that a crime? Sure seemed like it to me. Look at the riots around the Whitehouse last week. Statistically, no crime committed…

They are also comparing to the high crime rates post-Floyd/COVID.

And there have been a number of cities that have back tracked on their pro crime policies when they backfired.

                      Oakland continues to deteriorate:

This was across the street from the In-N-Out location that closed, the first In-N-Out location to close in the history of the franchise. This was a flash mob of about 70 people. The cops took several hours to respond. Zero arrests were made. There's your crime statistics.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Did you notice that the kids weren’t even rushing? They took their time and didn’t feel any urgency to get out of there. It’s like they knew nothing was going to happen.
