Per Gilliam’s detailing of the upcoming film, it has been revealed that Depp will portray Satan, while Jeff Bridges plays God. Adam Driver and Jason Momoa have also been cast in the film, though details surrounding their roles are currently unknown.
Gilliam explained to Premiere that The Carnival at the End of Days will be a “comedy where God decides to destroy Humanity. And the only one trying to save us is Satan. Because he needs people in hell, otherwise he won’t have a job for eternity!”
The director also added that the upcoming movie “will be very funny for those who like to be offended”. The film is expected to begin filming in January 2025.

This does sound fun - I do tend to love Terry Gilliam movies, although I must admit I haven't watched the latest couple he made.

Haven't seen that one. They're not always fun, admittedly, but they're always interesting.
