Where is Klaus?

He appears to have forgotten to put in his pants again.

Iβm thinking obviously northern Italy, maybe Garda region. Veneto.

Still canβt pinpoint. I thought the grave of domenico tonoli, who died in 1939 and also won a medal for bravery, (Cavaliere Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana) probably in WWI, would be enough hints to google but no luck. Tonoli is a Brescia/ Garda/veneto surname.

Also Garda is inundated by German tourists.

@Mik I looked at your hidden answer, canβt possibly be right. Itβs clearly Italy.

I know the area very well. We once rented a beautiful villa up in the hills over the lake about 30 kms northwest of there, for a wonderful week.
but i could not pinpoint that church in my searches....
u can imagine me searching "bell towers with clocks on churches near garda", gives a gazillion hits, but i could not find that specific one, so i worked on the name domenico tonoli, but that didnt come up with anything either.
What did the whited out sign say?
