      Well, that's ... interesting.

So we'd all have lots more money, but we wouldn't be able to afford to buy anything, and the rest of the world would presumably put similar tarrifs on US exports, so we wouldn't be able to sell anything either.

        Genius.

              Maybe.

But ...Whether you like them or not you're hearing ideas from Trump. Maybe they aren't always practical or workable, but at least you're hearing ideas on how to move the economy.

              Heard anything from The Resident?

Or if the increased prices amount to USD$2000/month. LOL

@Jolly All Presidents always come up with these grand economic plans. You may or may not agree with some of them, but to say that PResident Trump is the only one doing this is not the case. Infrastructure bill is one example.

It would be nice if we had economic plans that didn't sound as if they were made after people had smoked a fucking shit-ton of weed.

Unless that's the plan. Because I could get with that. But to be honest I can't really see Don and Joe doing that kind of shit, what with both of them being such committed God-fearing types.

Ultimately, the student loan stuff is probably unconstitutional. Biden has probably fomented more racism than he cured. And 🦄 don't exist.

No, but I know what spitballing is. Trump tends to do it out loud and sometimes in public. Sometimes, the ideas are goofy. Sometimes, they're not possible, legally or logistically. Sometimes, they're worth pursuing, but wind up in a dead end. Sometimes, he comes up with something, something novel or a twist on something established, that does lead to an effective end result.

                                  Maybe.

But ...Whether you like them or not you're hearing ideas from Trump. Maybe they aren't always practical or workable, but at least you're hearing ideas on how to move the economy.

                                  Heard anything from The Resident?

Getting rid of student debt, ending racism, doing something or other with the Middle East involving unicorns.

Any fucking idiot can talk bollocks non-stop. It's not a useful skill.

Ultimately, the student loan stuff is probably unconstitutional. Biden has probably fomented more racism than he cured. And 🦄 don't exist.

The funny thing is that you recognize Biden’s bollocks for what it is but you think there’s some logical thought process behind Trump’s excremental outpourings

Is that how you'd describe his recent scientific dissertation regarding the relative merits of sharks and batteries? Again, somebody sounds as though they've been smoking a lot of weed.

Anyway, who'd win in a fight, Darth Vader or The Borg Queen?

No, the shark thing was a bit weird, but who else was thinking about battery powered or hybrid powered boats and the problems of electricity and salt water?

There's a reason for that. Current flows from one battery terminal to the other one. It doesn't want to go anywhere else. The shark is safe from electrocution, which is probably the main concern.

                                        Salt water is conductive. 0.6W/mK @ 25°C.

Even in freshwater...I've used parts of an old telephone to shock fish.
