So our water pressure has always been okay. Not great, but okay.

After I rented the pressure washer, the water pressure from both of our showers suddenly improved. Dramatically. They were wonderful.

Then we started to get a leak from one of the showers. The faucet had been replaced 4 months ago and suddenly it seemed that one of the seals of the faucet was installed wrong and it was throwing water back… So the faucet was fixed 2 weeks ago, and the water pressure was still great!

Now, all of a sudden, the water pressure has gone back to pre-pressure washer levels.

    Any ideas?

I doubt any of it has anything to do with the pressure washer. Probably more due to a fill level in the supply tower or other usage. They might crank it up a bit during pool filling time.

. Check the main water supply pipe and find the valve next to the meter. You can tighten or loosen the bolt at the top of the valve to increase or decrease water pressure respectively.

Tighten the bolt in small increments at a time, then use the pressure gauge to see when you reach the right PSI between 40 and 60.
