Proud - Day 7
-
Something a little different, today. Rather than discuss horrible murders and assaults that have been committed, we’ll take a look at some that were quite fortunately prevented or were averted.
Alex Ye was a student in Montgomery County, MD that was arrested just a few weeks ago.
Alex had a 130 page manifesto, a disturbing search history, and was planning an event on the 25th anniversary of Columbine.
This is an example where early intervention appears to have been successful, and law enforcement officers and school officials deserve praise.
Alex was born Andrea.

Both names are commonly used by men/boys and women/girls.
Interesting. This Alex identifies as a boy and was born (and still is) a girl.

Nathaniel Beekmeyer, XY
did not abduct a baby while it was being breastfed by the mother in her car. Nathaniel (XY/She/Her). When Nathaniel broke into the car, assaulted the mother and tried to grab the baby, the mother fought him off long enough for witnesses to intervene and apprehend him.

I nearly forgot about Joseph Leedy, the cross dressing Florida Man that didn’t kill anybody when he crashed his car into a police station in an attempt to kill police officers.
I should probably amend that to being a half cross-dresser. He was naked from the waste down.
