Had a green 1966 Wildcat with a 401 nailhead.
Looked nothing like that.
Oh, it was green, except for the brown splotches from the pecan leaves that had rotted on it. Belonged to a widow that had just died and I bought it for $100, because I had just blown the motor in the Riv. I needed something that would get me the few miles to work and I was newly married. And pretty much broke.
Drove that thing long enough to buy the wife a used 1980 LeSabre with a V6. Car wouldn't pull a pregnant whore off of a piss pot, but it got over 20mpg. Wasn't a bad family car, just slow. Only car I ever got rid of that had absolutely nothing wrong with it.
