Today was no different than any day this past week; replacing the rotting out 2x4 bottom plates on my detached double and a half garage walls with composite planking. Why people do not pour a least a one inch curb (I would put in a 4 to six inch curb) along the perimeter of garage pads, I’ll never understand.
Big job but at least I will finish the south and east walls by the end of the weekend. Next week I will lay down some self levelling cement so that snow melt from the vehicles will stay away from the walls.

Our kitties are not snugglers.
Maggie spends the day on the cat tower. If I leave the living room, she yells, and races into the room where I'm headed. If Mrs. George is there, she yells, again, lies down and wants a scratch and a rub.
But, she NEVER actually cuddles.
Boris is a "I want to be in eyesight" cat. He'll sit next to Mrs. George on the couch, but not snuggle.
