    Old video that still resonates...

“Cry havoc and let slip the DOGE of war!”

Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

The biggest problem with being 5' 7 like me is when your dick hits the ground on a cold day it can really hurt.

      I was only joking

Yes, falling face forward can cause injury.

Interesting in the video...In order to get a woman interested in him (when the fairly short guy was in the line-up), they had to make the guy Chief of Staff at a prestigious hospital AND a best-selling author.

For the 5' tall guy, nothing worked until they made him filthy rich. With one of his taller competitors being unemployed for two years and the tallest guy being a gym coach...And at that, he only attracted the attention of one woman.

When I was young I actually had the experience of getting chatted up by some woman while I was sitting down, and she very clearly lost interest as soon as I stood up. Of course, I can almost laugh about it now.

I also got a sudden and inexplicable urge to overthrow the monarchy and invade Egypt.

            I was only joking

He wasn't that short. Average for a male in France at that time. About 5'6" to 5'7".

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

In contemporary TV drama from China, two often used phrases to describe the prototypical attractive person are:

                • 高富帅 "tall, financially wealthy, handsome" for men
                • 白富美 "white (fair-skinned), financially wealthy, beautiful" for women

In a sense, they show you how different attributes are prioritized in that culture when it comes to evaluating attractiveness.

Same as me! I listened to a podcast recently and they said the perception was British propaganda. The nickname "The Little Corporal" was a reflection of his popularity from his troops rather than a comment on his stature.

More recently - Churchill was 5' 6" by comparison with Hitler's 5' 9", and yet the perception is probably reversed for most people.

Being tall makes them easier to spot from a distance...

(Another historical piece of BS. The depiction of King Harold being shot in the eye was an 18th or 19th century modification to the Bayeux tapestry)

The only height that matters to me, is the height of virtue to which my very soul soars, as I fight for justice and equity.

                        Education is extremely important.
