@Jolly Great story and a life well lived. Unfortunately, there is going to be more "last of..." of the World War 2 generation.

We have a D-Day vet in the neighborhood.

Last Sunday we had about 75 neighbors go to his house to have cake and sing Happy Birthday for his 103rd.

The singing was lead by our resident country music star.

The HOA president is a Navy vet and he loves Vets. We have about 190 vets living in the 350 homes in the neighborhood.

On Friday we'll go around and plant a small American flag next to the mailbox in every front yard, for Memorial Day.
