Her first credited role as an actress was playing beside Frank Sinatra, but Frank was not the only famous actor she appeared with in movies. Robert Mitchum, Robert Young, Jimmy Stewart, Jimmy Cagney, Rock Hudson and Joel McCrea were some of the leading men she worked with. She even sang in some of her movies, but wasn't famous for her talent in that area. As best I can tell, she made 42 movies (credited and uncredited).
But...She made appearances in 304 television series and 30 tv movies.
In her personal life, she married a man she met while doing auditions. It was her only marriage and they were a couple for 46 years, until his death.
