I would like to watch Dr. Who, but I no longer have a subscription that allows me to watch it. :man-shrugging:

If anything, I'd say the lack of a good streaming deal hurts the series as more people forgo traditional broadcast or cable TV.

It's on Disney Plus. I must admit I'm finding the need to keep a number of subscriptions open is becoming a bit of a pain in the ass. We have HBO, Amazon Prime and Netflix - my son likes Star Wars and my daughter Doctor Who, so we also keep Disney open, but I'm not sure it's worth it for the amount we actually watch.

      I was only joking

Queer rights... interesting. I have no issue with people being who and what they want to be. But I don't feel any need to endorse their characteristics or support them. I'm not at all interested in what pronouns you want used. If you want to live an 'alternative' lifestyle, or feel you need to, fine. but don't look to the rest of the world for your validation.

Pretty much where I am. And if I want preaching, I’ll go to church. I’d rather not have it in my entertainment.

I may well be wrong, but as our economic conditions worsen (our debt service will soon be $1T/yr, necessitating some hard choices) I can see a resurgence of broadcast tv, especially in urban areas. Not to what it was 25 years ago, but better than today.

More likely you will see things like Samsung TV and such… Free services offered by the manufacturers of the sets. Finley likes watching the LEGO channel. I like watching some of the obscure sports channel (WCT is awesome)…

There's plenty of free movies available in various places. Broadcast TV is awful and I'm never going back. Nobody in their right mind wants to sit through 20 minutes of commercials every hour.

Free is rapidly picking up more and more commercials.

All the streaming channels are as well unless you want to pay a premium price.

The level of commercials is still much lower. I found terrestrial TV in the US to be unwatchable. I'm guessing the levels will increase until the viewers reduce
