Miss USA & Miss Teen USA Resigned

Seems to me like there's more than a hint of the old Jeffrey Epstein vibe going on with that Miss Teen thing.
-
This got some play on Tik Tok (I'm shocked). In any event, it would appear that the competition has some new management - and perhaps being a bit overzealous have pushed an agenda that they feel must be implemented immediately rather than wait 4 months to the crowning of a new person. I expect it reflects some
stupidityimpatience on their part - and will result in a bit ofunwantedattention. -

that Miss Teen thing.
They have been competing for 10 or 12 years by the time they reach Miss Teen.

Why?
Aren’t there more productive and d spiritually fulfilling extra-curricular activities for children other than feeding their parent’s egos?
Some sports - not all, mind you - martial arts and music come immediately to mind. I am sure there are others. That is after all, what pageants for little kids, girls in particular, are all about.
-
I'd rather have bought my daughter a collection of kazoos than have her take that stuff up.

The first title holder in the pageant's history to voluntarily step down accuses Miss USA CEO and President Laylah Rose of disparaging her and ignoring a case of sexual harassment in a resignation later obtained by NBC News. "There is a toxic work environment within the Miss USA organization that, at best, is poor management and, at worst, is bullying and harassment," the 24-year-old writes. She claims Rose, who began running the organization last year, was often uncommunicative, "cold and unnecessarily aggressive," at one point telling someone "she hoped I would get hit in the face by a baseball at an event where I would throw out the first pitch."

I find it very hard to believe that beauty contest contestants would be rude and unpleasant to one another. They always look so pleased when the other person wins, after all. They are after all what renowned songstress and poet Bette Midler referred to as the wind within one another's wings.

Interesting that you left out beneath their wings.
