    She may be a good governor. I don’t know. But South Dakota has less than a million people.

      Not ready for much other than the local corner gas and coffee counter.

        Alaska is and was even less populous but Sarah Palin was selected by McCain and nominated as the VP candidate by the Republican Party anyway.

          @Axtremus

          But if I recall correctly Palin was selected because she was a maverick. It was only after that it was discovered that also suffered from chronic hoof in mouth disease as well.

              According to Google, Westchester County has about 90k more people than South Dakota.

              They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

                  All appearances aside, swell Sarah was provincial and dumb. Cost McCain the White House; it was his to lose.

                  Where is she now? A little bit further down the road to obscurity that Tulsi Gabbard has been working so hard to attain.

                    Some people try and blame Tina Fey for making people misunderestimate Sarah Palin. The reality is that the spoof was so funny and popular because it was bang on the nose.

                      Fey called it as she saw it for comedic effect. Politicians are always fair game for caricature and lampooning with impunity. Fey did not feed the public misunderestimation of swell Sarah. The latter did that all on her own.
