Starbucks insists it's a binary choice

If ordering on a screen (e.g., mobile app, kiosk), there can be sliders for how much cream and how much sugar to add to a coffee order. Use a machine/robot to prepare the drink and it can get fairly granular.
FWIW, bubble tea shops these days quite often allow drink orders to specify sugar levels, often in 4 levels (no sugar, 25%, 50%, 100%).

"Can"
I haven't been to a Starbucks in ... well I don't remember when. That might be my dotage, or the fact that it's been so long ago.
Is there such a slider?

Yep. Starbucks mostly sells dessert these days.
Glad actual coffee drinkers don’t have to wait in the barista line.

Judging by most of the baristas I see there, I think the top selling drink there must be gender fluid.

Speaking of Starbucks, we were in Seattle two weeks ago and went by the original, there since 1971.
There was a huge line roped off on one half of the sidewalk. Around the corner is a modern Starbucks for those who want a coffee without the line.
We didn’t bother with the line, we were happy with a photo.

Speaking as a latte-drinking liberal who thinks that regular Starbucks coffee tastes like ass, none of the above.

Or is it the voice of something a bit more unsavory?

The boss of Starbucks is leaving the company after less than two years in charge as the coffee chain looks for a fix for its flagging sales.
Chief executive Laxman Narasimhan is stepping down and will be replaced by Brian Niccol, the head of Mexican grill chain Chipotle, the company said.
The shake-up comes as Starbucks is grappling with a slump in sales amid a backlash to price increases and boycotts sparked by the Israel-Gaza war.
Howard Schultz, a former executive who oversaw the growth of the coffee chain into a global powerhouse, said he believed Mr Niccol was "the leader Starbucks needs at a pivotal moment in its history".
One thing I have noticed is that in the US, Starbucks has become more a 'carry out" coffee shop than a "sit and relax" coffee shop. They seemed to have redesigned a lot of them to eliminate seats, etc.
They are still considered a "hang out" place in Thailand, and their business seems to be doing good.
The pics below are my "go to" Starbucks store in Thailand, in a neighborhood called Lang San. One of only a few Starbucks "community stores" in the world. Supposedly, a significant part of the store profits goes to local growers, etc.
