    It no longer surprises me how many people don’t care about constitutional rights as long as they’re being eroded for the “right” reason. Left and right.

    They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

          This is absolutely Big Ag, but he’s winning a few culture points, though I agree that this is infringing on the rights of the manufacturers and the consumers.

            No, they don't. But let me remind you of something I once read...

            "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

            The preamble sets the purpose of the Constitution, before it starts to get into the specifics. In the first sentence, it states the writers are trying to "establish Justice" I do believe that any person of sane temperament can say unequivocally that equal Justice has not been served in this matter.

                Who overturned the election?

                How many protesters were armed? Any heavy weapons involved in this coup?

                And what were these people protesting? What they considered a fraudulent or rigged election. They weren't trying to overturned the Constitution. They were angry because they thought the Constitution was being subverted.

                A protest turned into a riot. Ain't the first time that has happened. In other riots, more deadly riots, riots that caused much more damage, rioters that were arrested were given mild slaps on the wrist or charges were dropped. In the Jan 6 riot, the FBI and the Just-us Department have used multimillions of dollars to chase the guilty to the ends of the earth.

                Is that Justice? Is mutilating a law made for corporations to fit individuals, a fair exercise of the law?

                    Ok, I'll take the first one as nobody overturned the election. Or even tried.

                    Secondly, there were no armed rioters at the Capitol that I am aware of. Do you know something I do not? And...There is a concern among law enforcement that some of the same people who are helping organize the current Gaza protests are trafficking weapons for the next stage of protests.

                    As for BLM/Antifa being armed? Really? Do you need the examples?

                      Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has banned lab-grown meat, saying he will "save our beef" from the "global elite" and its "authoritarian plans".

                      "Florida is fighting back against the global elite's plan to force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs," Mr DeSantis said in a statement.
