      Well I got star killer and finished the southeast corner but it turned out I had a few letters off in other clues. Sundays can be a pain. Just too damn big.

              I hate it when the NYT crossword does this: Put at least two letters in the space of one square.

                                      Try mondays. After a number of mondays you will get the hang of it. They are all archived although I think u need a nyt subscription
                                      Today’s Sunday wasn’t so hard. The circled ones where not that tricky

                                        Yes. Mondays are the easiest. The NYT Crossword used to b published in the Chicago Sun Times - that's where we did them at work. I have a NYT digital subscription just for the crosswords.

                                        You have to develop a devious mind for some of the clues later in the week.

                                        "Development area" - UTERUS
                                        "Home in the country" USEMBASSY

                                        Sunday isn't usually too devious or hard, just big.
