FAFSA Woes

Speaking as somebody who is currently right in the middle of this, I think this guy is seriously over-reacting. It's also a lot easier than it used to be.

Speaking as somebody else that is currently in the midst of this, it is a pain in the ass. The portal kicked me out twice, refused to accept the password that I had just frigging changed, and was almost as intrusive as my physical last week.
We completed it 4 weeks ago, and am just now getting alerts that they are pulling my tax info. And there is no need for this. We are not going to be approved for needs based financial aid. We know this. We know this every year. But it’s still required for the Federal Direct Student Loan, even though the information from the application is irrelevant to approval for the loans. But that’s not Biden, it’s always been that way.
But yeah, I’m glad your application wasn’t a PITA, @Doctor-Phibes , but many others have had serious issues with it.

No, don't get me wrong, it was a PITA. But I seem to think it was considerably more fiddly before they changed it in 2020.
