Trump's batting 1000 so far. Nice. I don't really understand why Gabbard is so controversial, but I've heard she's got the longest shot.

You know my studied opinion on the matter.

Not that my opinion, or anyone else’s here, is of any consequence.

I see Fetterman and Peters breaking with the party stance. But I don’t see the rest. Kaine, especially. It will be interesting to see where some of these other votes land.

I think the Kennedy and Kash picks will be the toughest sell.

Kennedy Noem is interesting. Has her mother's good looks, a polysci degree and worked on her mother's campaign.

Could have been a college athlete, but an old injury made her quit her freshman year...She had broken her back in high school playing basketball.

I may have forgotten, so feel free to reiterate if you'd like.

@Renauda I did a search and gathered that you used to have some respect for her (considering her the most credible Dem presidential candidate in 2020), but more recently you've reconsidered over something about her opinions about Russia/Ukraine.

Good for you. And yes my opinion of Gabbard did change, in fact irretrievably so, and not only about that which you mention.

I just don’t get what point she is trying to make by telling the story in the first place

                    There are things you publish.

Each of those is a smaller group. She should know that.

Has anybody considered this could be a secret code to Deep State that she'd be willing to do what needs doing if Trump went too far off message? 😀

The whole notion of a Deep State is so laughable in its Projection that I really feel sorry for people so duped. First, I think it important to agree on what a deep state's purpose is. Would you all agree that their purpose is to hold the reins of power regardless of what acts are taken to successfully perform such a deed? I think one could also agree that the many players that make up such a "guild" would certainly include active and inactive politicians as well a deep pocketed individuals who feel their money is well spent in funding such purpose.
Well then, if there indeed is a deep state in existence, putting one's finger in the air, the breeze definitely points to the conservative side of the aisle, as witnessed by recent events that culminated on the day, January 6th, 2021. It got to such a desparate point, that they did not even bother to cover their tracks of illegality. The fake elector plot scheme was indeed open to the general public with folks like Boris Epshteyn and Peter Navarro explaining on air their scheme. Further witnessed by corrupt members of the Supreme Court making up law out of thin air to support Donald Trump in stating that a sitting President is immune from prosecution for most anything he chooses to do in the name of "good for the country". With justice Alito's flags flying in support of the MAGA movement, it was clear for all to see his neutrality to the law was compromised. And what kind of person would a deep state dearly love to have as one of its members? Yup, nothing finer that a supreme court justice. So, I pose the question to all, does a deep state of influence exist in this country and if so, where can it be found?
