Sometimes God has used flawed men for his purposes.
This might be such a case despite the very flawed human in question being a woman and person of colour. I don’t think the Abrahamic god is all that discriminatory in turning water into cheap wine any more than sows’ ears into silk purses to spread the almighty word as ecclesial community pastors.
