The Booker weighs 42 tons, but does not have the survivability of the Abrams. Since the mission is to provide direct fire support in a vehicle that can be transported by air, why not go with the "fustest with the mostest" strategy and field a vehicle weighing less than 20 tons?
In fact, why not a manned or unmanned Ripsaw?
