It's my understanding that prosecutors can give the jury a last minute menu of available charges.

The judge "hopes the rest of the community learns from this?" What EXACTLY is the "community" he is referring to, and why EXACTLY does that "community" need help with not smothering their children while high on meth?
His dog whistles are disgusting. I find this white male judge's racism to be deeply troubling, and I won't feel safe until he's in prison.
