Those who cheered as J-6 American prisoners were locked in solitary for 18 months without trial, now suddenly fight tooth and nail for foreign terrorists’ "due process". — Buck Sexton

Good for him to be able to win emotional validation points on an issue that he has no authority over, removing any responsibility from himself.

Sell out an arena or two, get ratings that move you up from being broadcast on ESPN the Ocha, and see what happens.

Tell you what, put Caitlin and a WNBA all star team up against a D-League Team and let me know what happens.

The WNBA TV contract = $60 million per year

The NBA #1 pick will make about $14 million per year

So the president thinks she should make $14 million per year, is that it?

At that rate there would only be 4 players in the league.

I saw a chart comparing average pay of WNBA players vs NBA players in the top line.
The second line was revenue of the two organizations.

Based on revenue, WNBA players are WAY overpaid.

            Edit: Found it:

            image.jpeg

            Narrative: WNBA players are underpaid.

Reality: NBA generates 167x the revenue of the WNBA. NBA players earn only 93x the average WNBA player.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Adults rarely say stupid things at the level of stupidity they'll recite about male/female pay gaps. Only race narrative platitudes can compete with that level of dumb.

There are accounts that nut-pick magats the way LibsOfTiktok nut-picks the woke. They would definitely make the team photo.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

The male/female pay gap thing, and certain race narrative things, are special in how mainstream they are.

If the NBA did not subsidize the WNBA, there would be no WNBA.

“Women in sports continue to push new boundaries and inspire us all,” Biden wrote on X. “But right now we’re seeing that even if you’re the best, women are not paid their fair share. It’s time that we give our daughters the same opportunities as our sons and ensure women are paid what they deserve.”

Let’s open up the NBA D-League (player salaries ~$120K) for female athletes to compete as well and see how that goes.
