The Trump "Hush Money" Trial starts today

Then if you think you have something, do it the right way.
Or do the ends justify the means?
-
Then why wasn't he indicted years ago?
Why do we have multiple indictments in multiple locations during the election year?
Why do we have Federal prosecutors resigning to work on a state case?
Why do we have state prosecutors and White House attorneys working together on these prosecutions?
Why do we have Federal agents falsifying evidence?
Do the ends justify the means?

I know he’s shown a complete disregard for norms and the law unprecedented among presidents in the past.
If we can’t punish him for it, our legal system is broken.
You were the one that pointed out there wasn’t a case here.

Stormy Daniels' husband revealed there is a strong likelihood the couple will flee the U.S. if former president Donald Trump is found not guilty in his hush money trial, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Barrett Blade spoke out about the ongoing proceedings and said that Daniels prepared herself for the criticism she has faced on a massive scale, noting people have been trying to "slut-shame" her for years.
"It doesn't affect me unless it affects her," he told CNN's Erin Burnett.
Blade, a fellow adult performer, said there is a "good chance" that he and Daniels will leave America if Trump is acquitted in his Manhattan criminal trial.
"Either way, I don't think it gets better for her. I think if it's not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we'll probably vacate this country," he shared during the interview.

She must be afraid. It was said she wore a bulletproof vest to court for her testimony.
Funny, she usually takes shots to the face...

It seems like before every US President election, there is some (minor) celebrity or another saying that they will move from the US if XX is elected. Never seems to happen.

I think Stephen Seagal moved to Russia to be close to his beloved Tsar.

Noticed you smuggled in the word "norms" there.

Liar, perjurer and now... embezzler.
Cohen acknowledges stealing from Trump at hush money trial
Cohen acknowledged stealing from the Trump Organization by including a reimbursement to a technology company in his bonus package and pocketing most of the money.
"So you stole from the Trump Organization, right?" Blanche asked.
"Yes sir," Cohen, 57, testified.
Cohen said he paid roughly $20,000 of the $50,000 that Trump's company owed to the tech company in cash, handing it off in a brown paper bag at his office. He said he kept the rest. He was reimbursed $100,000 total by the Trump Organization for that payment.
This is what Bragg is basing his case on.
-
Oh crap, this whole thing just fell apart for Bragg. CNN and MSNBC are having seizures over it.

Fear not, Merchan will find something...right?
Ha!
Turley: "The prosecutors are continuing to raise federal election law violations as if they exist in Trump's payments. They do not, but the jury is being led to believe that there were such violations. Merchan has done nothing to counter that false suggestions. The DOJ did not even fine Trump for the payments and declined to bring any criminal charge. Many experts dismiss the claim of the violation."

More Turley:
“I am out of the courtroom. It was quite a morning to have someone admit to stealing money from his client and then confirm that he wants to run for Congress. It will be a novel campaign: people usually wait to get into Congress before they commit major felonies...“
