The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

Good point. Problem is, our sensor and actuator tech isn't nearly as advanced as the ai tech.

I am unsurprised that "creativity" isn't as magical as humans have always loved to believe.

          Education is extremely important.

            Pfffffft.

The more I get involved with AI, the more certain that it actually is.

Unless you think creativity is just making stuff. Which, it's true that generative AI can make a shitload of stuff.

            Please love yourself.

Is she not aware of washing machines, cloth dryers, and dishwashing machines? Those have been invented and made commercially available way before AI. Heck, some of the more recent versions of these machines incorporate AI to different degrees.

Someone should tell her about Elon’s robots.

They’ll end up, after a lot of drama, with the same formula they use every time they have a trifecta: take away health care and food assistance from low income families and use the money to fund tax cuts for their donors.

Robotics, CNC, RC, should have rendered the human presence in (insert your mined element here) mines, or just about any commercial activity that is dangerous to humans, obsolete and unnecessary, decades ago.

Instead we focus on the non-dangerous activities like arts, coding, design, financial, etc.

                      Silly, stupid human race.
