British PM supports J K Rowling’s stand on Scotland’s hate law:

The prime minister has said people should not be criminalised "for stating simple facts on biology" in response to JK Rowling's criticism of Scotland's new hate crime law.

She’s probably safe. Those of us with neither a billion dollars nor 14 million twitter followers, on the other hand, should worry.

Apparently she’s planning on pushing the issue.

I find it interesting that she made the distinction that if a “woman” is arrested, she will say the same thing and force their hands…

Murray and Rowling are two peas in a pod in the sense that both enjoy a fight against a self-righteous mob. A rare quality in humans. Most of us are strongly wired to get along with the mob. Which has its roots in evolution, when getting along with the mob was of existential importance to any individual.

            Education is extremely important.

I have a rather Napoleonic view of the mob rabble.

The saying, "Lite is just one damn thing after another," is a gross understatement. The damn things overlap.

I don't think it's just that. Rowling's kind of big on women's safety due to some nasty stuff that's happened to her personally, and that's where a lot of her opinions on transgenderism are coming from.

But yeah she also has a lot of F.U. money which kind of helps.

                      Please love yourself.

                        Musing ...

Would the trans-mania ever been a "thing" without the internet?

Well, it's Web 2.0. Social media platforms reward being first. So if you can gin up a mob, you get a ton of recognition, support and hell even brand deals.
