tl;dr ,much like almost all of my university courses.
I'd have welcomed some discussions of gender or some such back then. All I got was a bunch of maths, interspersed with a bunch of physics. As a way of light relief I had a course on computer programming.
Not so much wonk, more wank. And not in a good way.
