I would think so as well. Even if he didn't activate the app, the fare has a record, including the license plate of the approaching vehicle.

I wondered if she actually got into the wrong vehicle. Always check the license plate number and driver picture. There’s been a problem with illegals using documented migrants phones and vehicles. That removes all of the protective safeguards for the system.
