I got an email notification that someone had answered a question I posted on a YouTube video (that Improv posted) 15 years ago. Apple and her Estonia. It got me thinking about how long many of us have been “hanging out” with each other, and all things we’ve lived through (and argued about 😄) together online. It started for me with the original piano world forum in 1998 or 1999 when I asked a question about a used Mason & Hamlin. Funny how you can feel like you know people you have never met in person.

Video here: (it’s gotten over 5K views!)

You were on PW before me, and I know I was there in '99.

            I miss her a lot.

              Graceful playing. RIP Apple.

              Education is extremely important.

Thank you for sharing that Jodie. I have such good memories of Apple. She was the first person outside of my local area I got meet IRL. Genuine open and kind heart ❤️
