One of my partners died of a GBM at age 69 - about 4 years after retiring.

A vascular surgeon I worked with presented with his GBM while doing a pacemaker - he had a seizure. He was dead in (i believe) 6 months.

Guy that I went to school with, who ended up being the director of the cancer center at Northwestern always said that the future of cancer therapy is inmunotherapy.

I wonder how many requests these researchers get from people who are currently suffering from glioblastoma.

They are all running out of time, and many of them would be willing to give everything for a 5% chance of survival.

Yes. 5% is far better than 0. Honestly, if the funding is there I don't see why it doesn't become the standard of treatment.
