For better or worse, we have passed the political conch to folk with dark skin. White progressives have always done so with the understanding that those folk would espouse the politics the white folk would prefer. But in practice, that may not be as much the case as the white progressives would have liked.

I spent about 7 hours today on the NC Outer Banks 4x4 beach near Corova VA.
4x4s only on this beach, we go about 10 miles past where the road ends. We had 3 Jeeps and a pickup.
Today I saw dozens of large Trump 2020 flags on flag poles in the back of pickups. I saw several American flags on these poles too, and nobody kneeling. I saw no Biden paraphernalia.
Fly-over country is alive and well.
It warms my heart to see such a demonstration spread over miles.
I’m sure it would shock Horace to know such a place exists.

Stating the somewhat obvious is not such a big deal. Also it’s not that he is going to overlook a better candidate. I mean Kamala is an obvious choice. On the other hand most voters have no idea who Susan Rice is.

The only thing I can think of is Kamala playing hardball now knowing she is a much better choice than Susan. Must be some frantic stuff going on. I’ll bet she won’t kiss the ring.
