They hold a lot...

In the last three Super Bowl appearances, I don't think the Chiefs have a single offensive holding call...

This year was the absolute worst that I have seen across the board. The referees simply aren’t calling holding. JJ Watt has a great theory and idea… He thinks refs don’t call it because 10 yards is too significant of a penalty. He thinks 5 yards would result in more holding calls.
Link to videoI’ve seen a lot of others suggest it won’t fix the problem because it’s a league goal to increase offensive output. While I agree that the league wants shootouts instead of 13-10 defensive battles (which I love, btw), that’s a little too conspiracy theorist for my tastes.
But this year was ridiculous. DPOY TJ Watt was actually tackled on 6 different occasions with no call. Mack, Bosa, the dipshit from Dallas, and Pass Rush Win Rate
️ Myles Garrett all witnessed similar.

Bobby Hebert, AKA The Cajun Cannon, does a sports show for WWL in New Orleans. Bobby may do his show half-plastered sometimes, but he's right on the money at times.
He quoted stats one night on drive killers. Holding was the worst culprit, especially on second and long (more than 7 yards) or third and long. If you aren't in the red zone, your chances of scoring a TD on that drive fall to the basement. Even in the red zone, you're much, much more likely to walk away with only three points.
