Yup.
The first half was amusing, but the second half...fantastic.

I watched it yesterday.
I found it underwhelming. I'm usually a big Ricky Gervais fan, but this show didn't do it for me. Wokeness deserves all the ridicule it gets, but it seems as if all the good jokes about it have already been made. Also, he's trying too hard to be "offensive". I'm also a little worried for him that, what, 50%? of the jokes are about pedophiles. I was thinking all the time: please, not AGAIN! During the masturbation scene I was very tempted to turn off. That was the low point.

I've never been a big fan of Gervais. Not because I don't like him, but simply because I've not seen him except in this and the speech he gave at the Golden Globes (?).
Your observation about the pedos is right, though I didn't notice it at the time.
In retrospect, there were a few laugh-out-loud jokes (a few) - like the "Want a puppy", because it went NOT where you were expecting it to go - a few smiles, and a few raised eyebrows.
I'll have to check out his other stuff to have a comparison. Recommendations. anyone?

Check out "Afterlife". It's a different, deeper kinds of humor.
Watched "Supernatural" yesterday afternoon.
It was better, funnier, nastier.
Still a fair number of pedo jokes, however.
ETA: A fair number of jokes from that were recycled into the most current performance. The words might have changed, but the joke is the same.

'After life' is very mild. And very refreshing.

I preferred his earlier stuff, before he started trying a bit too hard to be offensive. The Office was where he really got famous - I found it more awkward to watch than the Steve Carrell version, but it was really clever at the time. Also, the series Extras is fun, with lots of cameos, although you might not recognize some of the British celebs, there are a fair number of well known ones. I'm not sure whether it's currently available to stream in the US.

Yeah, that's what it was.
Speaking of which, did you catch Chapelle's opening joke?

That’s hilarious
