I don't believe his description of Nvidia (whose name he mispronounces, incidentally) is accurate. They're primarily known as a manufacturer of video GPU's and related technology. The idea that they don't create anything instantly recognizable (to anybody under 40 at least) is bogus.

Didn't Brenda's kiddo work for them at one point?

      I was only joking

A senior exec at Google called and spoke to me for an hour last night.

          I don't believe him.

If a Google senior really called him, he should at least mention the exec's race, color and gender.

I managed to get Google's AI to generate pictures that depict white men.
These were generated this morning around 9 AM Eastern Time.
The keyword is simply "boyfriends" :

I would like to hear from those who think the original version was good. There are two sides to this story.

              Education is extremely important.

What Google AI generated for the keyword "Axtremus" :

Also no problem getting images depicting white men with the text prompt "Congress passing bipartisan budget on time" :

Using the prompt "real estate salesperson showing a townhouse to prospective buyers," and the generated graphics show only Caucasians and fair-skinned Far-East/Oriental Asians. Where's the "diversity" that people complain about?

Your experience seems to be at odds with that of many others.

So much at odds that Google has decided to pull the AI for now.

                      Maybe you just got lucky?

Regardless, we all know that Google is just a bunch of Nazis.

The hatred for Gemini is (sit down) a right-wing plot!

Before long, public figures and news outlets with large right-wing audiences claimed, using dubious evidence, that their tests of Gemini showed Google had a hidden agenda against White people.
