Why haven't we talked about the NYPD dance video?

OK - I'll go first...
This video is getting a lot of flak. I don't know if the dancers are all police officers or support staff. But, that's not the point.
The implication is that this is being funded by the NYPD and rehearsals, etc are on city time.
AFAIK, this is all done on the free time of the dancers.
Who cares what they do in their time off?

Lefty Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is getting bashed for lashing out at a recent TV performance by the NYPD’s dance team — with foes saying her criticism only highlights the failures of her own party.
The Democratic congresswoman from New York City — who supported the “Defund the police” movement — was among those to take aim at the police department after its dance troupe performed on PIX11 late last week.
“How many school music programs got defunded for this,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted Monday alongside a clip of the female cop dance group — which is not funded by taxpayer money.

Is it a "wokeness" issue?I don't think so. I just searched on "X" for the NYPD dance video. This is one of the longer versions I found that didn't have some news-reading bobblehead giving commentary before and after.

But who TF cares what cops do when off-duty, as long as it's legal?
