His tests are a bit more than rigorous for this video. He puts a 75lb weight in the bags and sees at which weight the ties break and where the bag gives up.
I don't think I've ever put that much weight in a trash bag.
But the leak tests were interesting, as were the puncture resistance tests.
All in all, the Glad Forceflex was the winner. But, the Amazon basics were suitable for most people, IMO. Especially when you consider they cost about 60% of the Glad bags.
