If she is a Trump, I'm sure she'll be fine.

Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and handpicked choice to help lead the Republican National Committee said she thinks Republican voters would support having the political organization pay the former president's ballooning legal fees.

I don’t have a link but was told it’s a bloodbath as she fires employees to replace with loyalists.

              Hallelujah!

Well, maybe not. But things are changing. The GOP is changing. If the rules permit ballot harvesting, then let's knock on those nursing home room doors. Anything goes, as long as it's legal.

                  Absolutely.

It's the Chicago (and Democrat) way.

I doubt if they have a monopoly on the practice.

Good idea - it's where you get your candidates, after all 😆

                      I was only joking

                          https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/09/us/politics/lara-trump-rnc-florida-senate.html

Lara Trump, whose name has been floated to fill a possible Senate vacancy in Florida, is stepping down as co-chair of the Republican National Committee

Ms. Trump, who is President-elect Donald J. Trump’s daughter-in-law, made the announcement on Sunday in a post on X. She gave no indication as to her next move, but many Republican allies have lobbied for her to be appointed as the next senator from Florida, should Senator Marco Rubio’s seat become open.

                          and

She’s expressed openness to replacing Rubio, the president-elect’s pick to be secretary of State, in the Senate, telling The Associated Press it’s a role she “would seriously consider.”

“If I’m being completely transparent, I don’t know exactly what that would look like,” she told the AP in an article published Sunday. “And I certainly want to get all of the information possible if that is something that’s real for me. But yeah, I would 100% consider it.”

She did a good job at the RNC. Senate, no. But I'd certainly run her for the House.

Shouldn’t this be in the Senator Trump for SecDef DeSantis thread?
