A lot of people forget how good Drew's arm was, when he first came to the Saints and the shoulder finished healing. Payton's offense features timing, three reads and shot plays. His QB must be smart, accurate and be able to throw deep seam and post routes.

Not a very good mock, IMO. Pittsburgh will not be taking an OT #1 unless it was a best player available situation where they had him as #1. Pittsburgh takes the Center from Oregon or the CB DeJean if they are still on the board.

And Chicago either traded down (they can still get a top QB at 5, or takes Marvin Harrison at 1.

I was surprised Daniels was mocked as high. He fits what Payton wants, with better running ability.

Daniels runs very well, but it's not his first choice. At LSU, they sometimes had to tell him to run more.
