I opened this the other night, a Trader Joe’s brand. It was the singular most boring wine that has ever crossed my lips, completely unique in that it had no good features, no bad features, just…..nothing. No varietal character at all.

A friend at dinner last night suggested that it is as if AI could make wine. An apt description.

Maybe boring makes a decent table wine?

        Not in this case.

Hmmm … why you try to give AI a bad name with wine without actually tasting AI-created wine?

Maybe try “AI perfumery” or “AI gastronomy”.

Just because I knew it would bother you. 😆

You didn’t really have to ask, did you?

Got me thinking about the possibilities for delegating creativity/inventiveness to AI.

I seem to think I had a bottle of that stuff a few years ago, and came away with much the same impression - it's main attraction was the price, I believe, but we ended up using 1/2 of it for cooking.

Still, I do rather miss having a Trader Joe's nearby for affordable plonk.

                I was only joking
