    https://www.meater.com/

Really just thrown away money but its pretty kewl.

Wireless Bluetooth meat thermometer which connects to a phone app so u can know at any given time your meat temp, est time remaining, stores in memory every cooking session, charts time and all the temps (ambient temp vs internal temp and target temp) 4a98bdc2-5c66-4ad8-8a3f-629d5a2cd77b.jpeg

My first try was a salmon fillet I threw in the smoker for a bit. (My temps are set in centigrade, apologies to the barbarians)

    Target was 62 centigrade

In other words, completely useless information that any smoker or barbecuer would love to have.

So folks, next time the Mrs asks what u want for your birthday, you can thank me later.

Meater is pretty cool. I've been tempted, but my Inkbird still does the job. I find it indispensible to get my cooking precise.

Yeah, cool. But is it dishwasher safe, like this puppy?

If you're going to invest in a stupid useless man toy.

          Probably pricey, but...

I travel with my meat thermometer now if I know I'll be cooking (friends, family, vacation). Especially useful when you're unfamiliar with the equipment.

                Yeah, but she's kosher.
