      Speaking of "Golden Globes," did you see the winner of best supporting actress?

        Apparently he got booed during the opening monologue. Must have edited it out.

          @Mik he said, "I'm Filipino."

          Er, no.

          Jo Koy was born to a Caucasian American father who was in the United States Air Force stationed in the Philippines when he married Koy's Filipina mother.

                  So far, yes.

                  That is, if you accept the host as being Filipino.

                          If Gillian Anderson is washed up, I'd hate to think what that makes the writers for The Gateway Pundit.

                            Great Britain outlaws elective abortions after 24 weeks, and they have to be approved by two doctors.

                            I wonder if Ms. Anderson is aware of that.

                                It would be nice if you're well-informed before making statements about another country's laws. Or, in this case, the laws of individual states.

                                I dunno, getting two doctors to approve an abortion sounds pretty restrictive to me. I wonder what the waiting period at the NHS for this is.

                                She might be aware, of course. I have no way of knowing.

                                But, then again, nothing says "stay classy" like wearing a dress with a bunch of vaginas sewn into its fabric.

                                  By the way, I was kind of disappointed that "Maestro" didn't win something significant. Though I didn't care, all that much, for the film, Cooper was amazing - both as actor and director.

                                          She sounds like a yank to me. Then again, I've lived in the US for over 20 years, so I must be an American.
