Belongs in the Dark and Inappropriate thread, but...

We're definitely living in a very different age from when I and many of you grew up. Hogan's Heroes was the edgy show for the time. We watched what happened when Wally and Beaver screwed up or how the professor could solve problems for the crewmates of the SS Minnow.

Kids today are exposed (good word) to so much via so many modalities. It make one wonder if it might be advisable to transfer to an Amish community for a couple of decades.

          Why is this troublesome?

Don't like it? Don't watch it.

They did the same thing to Winnie the Pooh recently. Did you watch that? I didn't and will also not watch the steamboat willie horror flick.

Should we change the public domain copyright laws to prevent this sort of thing?

No one, not me anyway, is suggesting laws be changed. It would be nice if folks would have some standards about what they are willing to do for profit.

That's how I felt about the Winnie the Pooh movie. Not the horror one, the Disney one.

              I was only joking

From what I know of you you’d be an exception to that.
