Not too surprising. US society in my opinion is looking at the small picture over the big picture when it comes to this virus.
It has been seen with contact tracing, wearing masks, gathering in groups, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc

Will @Horace flee, in terror or otherwise, if CA seceded?
If so, how quickly?I would follow the job, as I did when I arrived here. Would the businesses flee? So many details we'll never know. For CA will sadly never secede. The most interesting reality about it is and will always be, that particularly clueless progressive Californians genuinely want it to happen.
