The Roosevelt (Waldorf) New Orleans is my second favorite hotel in New Orleans. The Ritz Carlton is #1, but much pricier.
Nevertheless, the Roosevelt is the best bang for the buck, IMO. Windsor Court might be a bit cheaper, but it's not the iconic hotel that the Roosevelt is.
