GM has had a history of poor designs vis a vis repair and maintenance. A girlfriend had a Pontiac Sunbird where you had to pull the engine halfway out to change the rear sparkplugs. Not to mention I used to have to tighten down the carb every couple weeks.
That can and should be fixed. Instead, let's hire a split-tail to run the company that doesn't know one end of a wrench from the other and motor off into EV nirvana.
