Mik, why no Fast and Furious? He loves cars in general and muscle cars in particular.
You do not want him to imprint on that sort of driving. While it is unlikely he will ever have to fight raptors or Afghans, he will be driving one day, sooner than you'd like.

The animation style takes some getting used to, but the action design is in a league of its own.The Jason Bourne series is OK too.
For action comedy, there is always Jackie Chan.
Stephen Chow’s “Shaolin Soccer” and “Kung Fu Hustle” are great action comedies, but you’d need some background in Chinese kungfu mythology to fully appreciate the nuance else a lot of it would just look like slapsticks.
