I find it funny that the folks most outraged over this are outraged on behalf of Christian beliefs they themselves don't even share.

What’s even funnier is how gay the shows are

I'd say that tracks. Unlike, say, the Jew-hating wokes, Jesus takes all comers.

It’s not really what JC thinks that’s at issue here. I’m pretty sure he’d be down with the gays, since he seems to have opinions similar to mine on most things, at least as far as I can tell. Mega churches maybe not so much.

    I was only joking

Let's compare open calls for genocide tallies and you tell me who lately has been looser with 'em.

      Please love yourself.

Dude, buzz-kill. I'm just laughing at how gay the shows are. We don't have to compare everything to genocide, although I guess we could. It would probably make my speeding ticket seem less awful.

            I, for one, have not.

However, your comment raises an interesting point: When does "entertainment" cross over into "worship?" Are they mutually exclusive?

If you get bodies into the pews seats, is that a bad thing? OTOH, how many of the congregation are there, just for the show?

The people seem to be having a good time, just like at the Pride March in San Francisco.

Doesn’t mean we can’t call them over the top.

                Only non-witches get due process.

Well, not quite "just like." I didn't zoom in, but I didn't see anyone ejaculating on someone else.

But, yeah, I get your point.

You chaps should embrace British Pantomime. Blokes dressed as women, women dressed as blokes, and at a fraction of the cost of that American thing! And, it goes without saying, no ejaculating other than the traditional shout of "HE'S BEHIND YOU!"

I have seen the nativity scene staged as part of a topless show in Vegas. It's actually very well done. It's only the last 15~20 minute of a 2 hour show, but the actors/dancers did cover up for the nativity scene. And no Santa for the scene; I think the Vegas troupe's nativity scene adhered to tradition even more closely than the Texas Mega Church's version.
