I'm just saying that the next publication, PR firm, social media schlub or whomever uses the "in the time of COVID" construction fully deserves to get face-punched. You're not being clever or profound, would-be Gabriel Márquez. You're not only ripping off the most obvious literary reference there is, but half the world already beat you to it. You're as slow as you are unimaginative. Say something else, anything else.
