Not if they were using water based paints which I suspect probably were by the looks of the type of pressure cylinders they used. Besides, I don’t think solvent and oil based paints are readily available in the EU outside of industrial applications. Not sure about that.
Still wanton vandalism and public mischief. No excuse. Plenty of grounds for criminal charges. Probably environmental and health and safety infractions on top of all.
At the very least should spend Xmas and new Year’s in remand
